1. Schedule in Advance
While we know that scheduling an appointment six months out may seem daunting, we find that most of our patients have an easier time planning around a scheduled appointment than remembering to call and schedule an appointment every six months. For example, we often recommend that parents with children schedule their kids’ appointments at the very beginning of the year so that they don’t get overlooked once extracurricular and other activities start up!
2. Family Block Appointments
Our office is happy to offer family block appointments or same-time appointments that allow you to take care of the entire family’s cleanings and exams at one time. We’ve made our waiting area as comfortable as possible with comfortable seating and toys and entertainment for kids.
3. Preventive Care
One of the most important steps you and your family can take to reduce the time and money you spend at the dentist is practicing good preventive care. You should brush your teeth twice every day for two minutes each time and floss daily. The risk of developing many common dental conditions like tooth decay or gum disease can be lowered or even totally prevented with good oral hygiene!
If you maintain a good oral hygiene routine, chances are you will only need to visit our office twice a year for routine professional cleanings and an exam from Dr. Clauser or one of our other qualified team members.
